Did you know? The first 12 weeks of strength

adaptations are NEURAL.

"I've used all of these methods to

help win tournaments on my Taekwondo
journey. They were also crucial in
rebuilding the elite level of strength
and stamina needed for such an endurance
based sport when I was recovering from
invasive abdominal surgery in 2022.

This year, they practically

saved my life as I rehabilitated myself from
a minor stroke: I spent weeks hardly
able to walk, speak, or eat. I felt a complete
disconnect between my body and mind.
These mental exercises allowed me

to retrain the two to work together, and
I feel stronger than ever.

I wouldn't have regained control over my
body nearly as quickly without the
positive energy these practices help you
cultivate."

We've looked at thousands of clinICal research papers

on the extraordinary mind-body system to

develop nervous system regulation protocols that ensure

total alignment of mind and body. Becoming mindful of

the brain's role in training will help solidIFy healthy habits,

improve performance, and build positive self-concept

by rewiring deeply-ingrained neural pathways that

contribute to self-sabotaging behaviors.

Kinetic Visualization

Traditional weight training programs use an exercise prescription strategy that emphasizes improving muscle strength through resistance exercises. Other factors, such as stability, endurance, movement quality, power, flexibility, speed, and agility are also essential elements to improving overall functional performance. By integrating traditional weightlifting and disciplines with greater stability, range of motion, and cardiovascular demands, like pilates, martial arts, and other sports, there is the potential to build higher levels of stamina and a more balanced physique with greater freedom of movement.

Breathwork

The Serious Leisure Perspective is a framework from sociological research that states people are most likely to continue consistently doing an activity like working out if some aspect of it is tied to their sense of self. By using an integrated approach to strength training, you and your coach will have the opportunity to find the types of movement which you can see yourself falling in love with and becoming a part of your identity. We use an in-depth client onboarding system inspired by the Serious Leisure Index Measure (SLIM) to figure out exactly what types of movement you'll be eager to stay consistent with rather than creating a simple bodybuilding workout that may feel like a chore. This will involve looking at your childhood involvement with sports, dance, or anything physical to help you find the joy in movement you probably had when you were younger.

Positive Identity Shift Journaling

The highly emotional and unpredictable nature of sports causes an array of hormonal and neurological responses within the body that are not found during the relatively controlled pursuit of weightlifting. By incorporating athletic conditioning systems that involve unpredictable reaction drills, changes in direction of movement, and movement in all planes, we gradually induce greater neurological efficiency in trainees than weightlifting alone.
